Privacy Policy

Drefum is a one-person business. This policy describes exactly what happens to the information you share here — in plain words, because the whole point of writing it is that you can read it.

What we collect

Your email address, and only if you type it into a form on this site and submit it. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is required.

Like every website, this site is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard technical records — things like the pages requested and the approximate region a request came from. Drefum does not use these records to identify individual visitors.

Drefum does not collect payment information. If paid products are offered in the future, payment will be handled by a separate merchant of record, and that company’s own privacy policy will apply to the payment.

Why we collect it

To send you occasional notes about new Drefum tools and materials. That is the only reason.

We do not sell your email address. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers. There is no advertising on this site.

Who else sees it

Two companies handle your email address on Drefum’s behalf:

Framer, which hosts this site and processes form submissions.

Google Workspace, where the submission arrives as an email.

Both are used only to operate the site and reach you. Neither is permitted to use your address for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to stop, or until Drefum stops sending anything at all. There is no fixed expiry date, and there is no reason for us to keep an address that no longer wants to hear from us.

What you can ask for

Email founder@drefum.com and you can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. You do not need to explain why, and asking will not cost you anything.

Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. We will honour those requests through the same address.

Children

This site is meant for people running a business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects how your information is used, we will say so in an email rather than expecting you to notice.
